Most business owners only discover their website has a problem when the enquiries slow down. By then the cause has usually been there for months: a missing page title, a slow server, a mobile layout that does not work, or a setting left over from the day the site was built that quietly tells Google to stay away. A health check finds these problems early, while they are cheap and quick to fix.
The basics decide a surprising amount. Search engines read your title, description and headings to understand what each page is about. Phones decide in a second whether your page is usable. Visitors leave slow pages, and browsers warn people away from sites that are not secure. None of that needs a redesign. It needs someone to look, tell you plainly what is wrong and fix it in the right order.

What does it check?
It loads one page of your website the way a visitor would and reads what search engines, phones and security scanners notice: titles, headings, descriptions, structured data, mobile setup, server speed, compression, security headers and more.
Will it slow down or harm my website?
No. It makes a handful of ordinary requests, the same as a visitor loading one page, plus two small files, robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
What is a good score?
Above 75 is good and above 90 is excellent. Most small business websites score somewhere between 50 and 70, and the gaps are usually simple to close.
Can it check any website?
It can check any public web page. It cannot see pages behind a login, and it only checks the single page you enter, so try your home page first and then your most important service pages.
