On The Door started with watching how nights are really run: slow listings, hidden fees at the checkout and door staff juggling printed lists. The idea was a UK ticketing platform for clubs, festivals and gigs that promoters, fans and door teams could all use without friction.
What we builtWe designed and built the platform ourselves, from the first sketch through to the back end. Fans can buy as a guest or with an account, receive a ticket with a QR code and find it again under My tickets. Promoters get a dashboard for events, releases and sales, with payouts handled through Stripe. Door teams use a scanner on a phone that admits a ticket once and clearly refuses it the second time.
Around the core sit the pieces that make a ticketing site discoverable and trustworthy: thousands of event, venue and artist pages with clean structure and schema, a nightly refresh of listings, artist and venue profiles, calendar feeds, a waiting list and an offline friendly door mode.
The platform is hosted and monitored on our own infrastructure, with live smoke tests running around the clock and a standing process for backups and safe deployments.
The resultOn The Door is live and trading, and it shows what a single small team can build when it designs, builds and runs a product end to end. The same discipline goes into every client project we take on.
If you are planning a booking, ticketing or marketplace platform, we can scope it with you from the first sketch.
